A message from Cari Rosno

We started looking at the verse in 1 Cor. 9:24 when we were preparing for the marathon in 2009. Our pastor had used it in his sermon one Sunday and it really stuck with a few of us. Upon further reading, research and prayer, I found much more to this than first meets the eye. There is a parallel between running and life. We train in a very disciplined and committed way for our upcoming races. We need to live life in this same way. I know in the end where I want to be, what my prize will be. How I get there is through commitment to Christ and discipline in my daily life. Run to Win – live in such a way as to gain your prize, eternal life with Christ.
